Guided by our Code of Conduct

Our Code of Conduct serves as a central governance framework, encompassing policies on human rights, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity, anti-corruption and bribery, responsible procurement, and data privacy for employees and customers. The Code establishes workplace accountability and a zero-tolerance approach towards discrimination, harassment, child or forced labour, human trafficking, and other unethical practices across operations and the supply chain. It also promotes fair hiring and professional development, as well as safe and healthy working conditions in line with national legislation and international ESG and occupational health and safety standards, all while fully respecting employees’ freedom of association and right to unionize.

Greenhouse gas emissions

We started monitoring Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions, with a clear roadmap to
include material categories of Scope 3 within 2026.

Scope 1

Greenhouse gas emissions from sources that a company owns or controls, such as company vehicles or on-site fuel combustion. Direct emissions for 2024 are estimated to 52t CO2 eq.

Scope 2

Emissions from the generation of purchased electricity, heat, or cooling used by the company. Indirect emissions by purchase of electricity and heat are estimated to 491t CO2 eq.

Scope 3

All other indirect emissions that occur outside the company’s direct operations, including those from suppliers, product use, business travel, waste, and transportation.
Energy-efficient insulation has been installed across facilities, and approximately one-third of production material waste is reused, advancing circularity and operational efficiency.

A formal Environmental Policy guides internal operations, supported by regular data reviews and targeted efficiency improvements.

Next steps

While our ESG journey is underway, we recognize that significant progress is still to come.

Planned ESG improvements include acquiring digital workstations for employees, installing an energy-efficient roof on one of the buildings, and upgrading machinery in the electronics manufacturing department to more energy-efficient models.

Looking ahead, Starck Tech aims to deepen its positive impact through smart operational upgrades, greater integration of sustainability metrics, and continued engagement with regional development initiatives.

Starck Technology is a group including Starck Innovation and Starck Bulgaria. The company was established in 1994 as Security Smart Systems and rebranded in 2025. We are private EMS company with turnkey production from idea through design, full electronics assembly, injection molding of plastics, metal sheet manufacturing, cable production, testing, final assembly and packing. We work on 10 000 m2 with 240 operators following ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
