Project objectives: The ultimate goal is for EDIH-NWACB to establish itself as a reliable and key partner in the digitization of the automotive industry at national and European level, providing a variety of services and events. The hub will ensure the support and commitment of key stakeholders to facilitate the adoption, use, and improvement of the services offered, with the aim of increasing its impact on the growth of Industry 4.0. To achieve the ultimate goal, the hub will:

• create infrastructure for capacity building in the areas of high-performance computing technologies, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, advanced digital skills, and the implementation and optimal use of digital capacity and interoperability;
• act as an access point to the European network of ECIH, helping representatives of target groups with expertise and opportunities to test technologies and services, as well as by creating a network of competences with other hubs in Bulgaria and Europe;
• providing specialized innovation services such as pre-investment testing, training and skills development, investment support, networking, and access to innovation ecosystems for the benefit of SMEs and small mid-cap companies;
• promote cooperation with SMEs from other EU Member States and the formation of international initiatives between the various representatives of the target groups in Bulgaria and Europe;
  
  Main activities:
• Building infrastructure and providing pre-investment testing services.
• Conducting training and building digital and innovation skills.
• Consulting and access to finance activities.
• Creating networks and an innovation ecosystem at regional level.
• Communication and promotion of the hub’s activities and initiatives under the Digital Europe program.
• Results:
• conditions created for improving the competitiveness of the Northwest region and increasing digital skills in the automotive sector;
